Lessons

Lessons allow you to deliver key messages and training material within a plan.

You can use a combination of content to create engaging and effective lessons using videos, PDFs, web pages, flashcards, HTML5, documents, and multiple-choice questions.

Creating a lesson

Lessons can only be created within a plan. After you have created a plan you can either create a new or existing lesson by clicking add lesson.

Start by creating a name that describes the lesson and highlights the value of the contents.

Add a custom thumbnail

If you do not have a thumbnail image for your lesson it will automatically be generated after you upload a video. You can always come back and replace the thumbnail by uploading a new image later.

Add content to a lesson

Videos

Videos should be short and engaging for your audience. Use a video to speak directly to your intended audience and share your passion for the product or key messages.

PDFs

You can encourage your audience to download or refer back to the PDF when they are working with a customer. PDFs should be compressed before you upload them to Myagi. We recommend keeping them well under 9Mb as they are often too large for users to view directly on Myagi.

Web Pages/Web Snippets

Web pages and snippets are a powerful way to embed a wide variety of your favorite content sources from the web and convert them into exciting Myagi lessons. Snippets can accommodate web pages from almost any source and there are plenty of well-known sources you can use.

Text Documents

Create a text document right on the Myagi website. This is a quick and simple way to describe a product, share further detail or provide instructions.

Questions

Questions are a great way to build confidence or test understanding and retention of the lesson. Questions are multiple-choice and can also be turned into true or false statements to ensure everyone is aligned.

Recommended lesson flow

  1. Announce what the audience will learn

  2. Video (2-3 minute max)

  3. Flashcards reinforcing key points

  4. Quiz (3-5 questions)

  5. Optional PDF for additional information (Downloadable)

Add the lesson to other plans

A lesson can be added to as many plans as you want. Click the edit button and select the plans that should contain your lessons.

You can create a new plan with existing lessons to target a specific audience.
