Network: Connecting with Retailers and Brands

Overview of how to build, manage, and engage with your retailer and brand network on Myagi

Building and maintaining a strong network of retailers and partners is key to maximizing the value of Myagi. The Network feature allows your brand to connect directly with retailers, distributors, and other partners to streamline training, increase engagement, and enable data-driven insights.

πŸš€ What is the Myagi Network?

The Myagi Network enables brands and retailers to connect and collaborate through the platform. Once connected, brands can:

  • Share content via Channels

  • Send Announcements to their network

  • Track engagement through Analytics

  • Strengthen product knowledge and advocacy across frontline teams

βš™οΈ Getting Set Up

Before sending network invites, make sure your Company Profile is set up correctly.

🏒 Office Location

Specify your headquarters or the primary location for your operations. This improves the relevance of your company in search results.

🌍 Region of Responsibility

Select the countries or regions your team is commercially responsible for. This ensures your brand is discoverable by retailers operating in the same areas.

βœ… Pro tip: You can update or add countries anytime as your business expands.

🏷️ Tags

Add industry-specific tags (e.g., "Cycling", "Eyewear", "Apparel") to improve searchability and connect with relevant partners.

πŸ“‘ Making Network Connections

Now that your Company Profile is complete, you’re ready to start growing your network.

You'll want to create a distribution plan and carefully consider how you get retailers connected to your content.

Manage Network Connections

Network connections can be managed in the Network tab by selecting Your Network.

Connections

Displays the name of the company you are connected to. The number in parentheses represents the total number of companies you are connected to.

Status

Connections will display as active if learners consumed content within the last 90 days. You can click where it says "All" to filter by the status, in order to isolate the inactive connections and target an engagement strategy.

No. of Learners

Displays the number of learners within each connection.

Location

Displays the country location of each connection.

​Deleting a connection

A company connection can be deleted by clicking on the three dots in its respective row and then clicking on "Delete connection". This feature is only available to Brands.

You can also download a CSV file with either a full list of Stores or Companies within your Network, by clicking on the "Download as CSV" and choosing the respective option.

Network Connection Invitations

You can review network connection invitations under the Network tab by selecting Invitations

Accept

Accepting the invitation will make a connection and trigger an email notification informing all admins within the account that a connection has been made.

If you want to share content with your connections, you'll need to navigate to channel sharing and select the specific company or share with your entire network. You can find more information about this in the Channel Sharing article.

Ignore

Ignoring your invitation will remove it from the list without notifying the company that requested to connect. They may, however, send another request to connect in the future.

Finding companies

You can find new retailers, brands, or partners under the Network tab when you select Find Retailers.

The companies that appear are based on location and industry tags. If you are not finding the company you are looking for, you will want to review your company settings to adjust your region of responsibility. Click here to learn more.

Inviting Existing Companies in Myagi to Join your Network

If the company is already on Myagi, and you want to get connected with them and share some channels, you'll want to navigate to the Content tab, select Channel Sharing, and then Sharelinks.

Sharelinks are used to connect current companies to your company and content.

Key Retailers

Reach out to your Customer Success Manager to create a list of key retailers or partners you’d like to get connected to Myagi. We would love to meet with your key retailers and help get them on board.

Create a Channel with introductory content that gives new connections an overview of your brand, values, and what they can expect from your training. This helps retailers understand the benefits of working with your brand on Myagi.

After connecting, you'll be able to:

  • Monitor who is engaging with your training

  • Identify knowledge gaps across your network

  • Use performance data to improve content targeting
