Updated this week

Our badging system has been revamped making it more accessible, user-friendly, and versatile to help you drive engagement! Here are all the types of badges we offer with detail on how to set them up.

πŸ“š Content Badges

Content Badges allow you to reward learners for completing specific Plans and/or Lessons of your choice.

✨ Previously, all badges on Myagi were assigned at the Plan level.
Now, you can also assign a badge to individual lessons, giving you much more flexibility in designing learning incentives!

πŸ“˜ The Content Badges Tab

Under the Content Badges tab, you can:

  • βœ… Create, edit drafts, publish, and manage all badges tied to content completion.

  • πŸ” Search and sort badges by name, status (Published or Draft), Publishing Date, Certificate, or Content Assigned.

  • πŸ“Š See at a glance how many Plans and Lessons are required to earn each badge.

This makes it easy to stay organized and keep your incentive system running smoothly!

πŸ› οΈ Creating & Editing a Content Badge

To create your first Content Badge:

1️⃣ Go to the Incentives tab.
2️⃣ Switch to the Content Badges sub-tab.
3️⃣ Click Create Badge.
4️⃣ Fill out the following details:

πŸ† Badge Image – Upload an engaging visual that will appear on users’ profiles.
πŸ–‹οΈ Badge Name – Give your badge a motivating name that stands out.
πŸ’¬ Badge Description (optional) – Explain what users need to do to earn it.
πŸ“ Channel Selection – Choose which channel the badge belongs to.
πŸ“š Content Requirement – Select the Plans and/or Lessons learners must complete.
🎁 Reward (optional) – Add a reward in the form of:

  • A Single Discount Code (same for all users), or

  • Many Unique Codes (individual one-time-use codes, separated by commas or one per line).
πŸ“œ Certificate (optional) – Toggle on to attach a certificate of completion.

πŸ’Ύ You can then:

  • Save as Draft – if you’d like to make changes later.

  • Save & Publish – to make your badge live immediately!

⚠️ Editing Rules

While your badge is still in Draft Mode, you can freely edit all details.
Once published, however, the name, image, and description become locked πŸ”’ β€” so double-check before going live!

If any content (like a plan or lesson) required by the badge is later removed, it will automatically disappear from the badge as well.

🌟 Recognition Badges

Recognition Badges are a powerful way to personally recognize and reward users β€” without requiring any content completion.

Perfect for in-person training, special achievements, or spotlighting outstanding team members! πŸ™Œ

πŸ’« The Recognition Badges Tab

Within the Recognition Badges tab, you can:

  • βœ… Create, edit drafts, publish, and manage badges manually.

  • πŸ” Search and sort by badge name, status (Published or Draft), Publishing Date, People Rewarded, or Certificate.

🧩 Use Case Example:
Running an in-person training session?
You can pre-create a Recognition Badge, select the users expected to attend, and save it as a draft.
After the session, simply edit the badge to remove absentees, add extra attendees, and publish β€” awarding badges instantly to participants.
