Our badging system has been revamped making it more accessible, user-friendly, and versatile to help you drive engagement! Here are all the types of badges we offer with detail on how to set them up.

Content Badges

Content Badges allow you to recognize and reward users for completing specific plans and/or lessons of your choosing. Previously on Myagi all badges were assigned at the plan level, but with our new improvements, you can also assign a badge to an individual lesson.

Content Badges Tab

Under the Content Badges tab, you can create, edit drafts, publish, and manage all of the badges that require users to successfully complete content to earn. The main page allows you to search and sort by the badge name to find and manage your badges more easily. You can filter or sort by status: Published or Draft. And you can also sort by Publishing Date, Certificate, or Content Assigned. You’ll see in the Content Assigned column the number of plans and lessons required to earn that badge.

Creating and Editing a Content Badge

  1. Click into the Incentives tab

  2. Ensure you are in the Content Badges sub-tab

  3. Select Create Badge

  4. Fill out the details

    1. Badge image

    2. Badge name

    3. Badge description (Optional)

  5. Select the Channel your badge will be awarded from

  6. Select the Plans and/or Lessons you require to earn the badge

  7. Assign a reward in the form of a single discount code or many unique codes (Optional)

  8. Attach a Certificate by selecting the toggle (Optional)

You can also decide at this point to either save the badge as a draft or save and publish it via Save Draft or Save and Publish.

Selecting Save and Publish will set your badge live and will be available for people connected to that channel to start earning.

In draft mode you can edit and make changes to a number of the fields. However, once a badge has been published, the name, image, and description cannot be changed. Ensure you are 100% certain with those details before you publish.

If a piece of content that is required on a badge is removed from the channel or plan, it will be removed from the badge and will no longer be required to earn the badge.

Recognition Badges

Recognition Badges allow you to recognize and reward specific users of your choosing without any content completion requirements. Under the Recognition Badges tab, you can create, edit drafts, publish, and manage all of the badges that are awarded to specific users for whatever reason you like rather than based on content.

A common use case for Recognition Badges is for in-person training. Where an admin can pre-create the badge and select the users they expect in the training session, save it as a draft, and then once the training has been completed, log into the web app to edit for any users who didn’t show up or add additional users who did, and then publish the badge to award those who attended the in-person training.

  1. Click into the Incentives tab

  2. Ensure you are in the Recognition Badges sub-tab

  3. Select Create Badge

  4. Fill out the details

    1. Badge image

    2. Badge name

    3. Criteria to earn this badge

  5. Select the company of the people you will award the badge to
You can only reward users from within one specific retailer per badge at this time

  6. Provide a reward in the form of a single discount code or many unique codes (Optional)

  7. Attach a Certificate by selecting the toggle (Optional)

If you’re editing a badge in Draft, these can still be changed but once a badge is published, the details fields cannot be changed.

You can publish immediately or save the badge as a draft and come back later to publish when you’re ready.

Analytics > Incentives

The Analytics > Incentives page has been updated (for each dropdown option) with additional columns to reflect these new elements, particularly the badge type and whether or not it has a certificate. See images below highlighting the new columns.
